Prevent Tarnish - Electrochemical process
Wednesday, September 24, 9am - 12pm at the East Center Studio
Learn to prevent tarnish using Rio Grande's Silver Glory Anti-Tarnish Protector to treat gold, silver, rhodium, platinum, and palladium. This electrochemical process is safe, simple and effective for long term storage and display of jewelry in a showcase. Process requirements and other tarnish prevention methods will be discussed and the 'Rio Grande Anti-Tarnish Protective Solutions Instructions' will be provided.
While the process is simple, the set-up requires specific equipment and attention to safety requirements. This workshop is an opportunity for you to test and determine if this process serves your needs.
This workshop is limited to 6 participants (a waitlist will be created to determine the need for future sessions).
Participants to bring: Up to 5 of their completed silver projects to treat using the above process, a microfiber towel, neoprene gloves, safety eyewear
Electrical Set up: Provided by Ira Cochran
Materials: Provided by your club
Workshop Fee: $10 (payable to Instructor)
